CRITERIA, INDICATORS, AND LEVELS OF PROFESSIONAL MOBILITY DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE INTELLIGENCE OFFICERS

Abstract

The article addresses the issue of determining the criteria, indicators, and levels of professional mobility development for future intelligence officers during their professional training at higher military educational institutions. The purpose of the article is to identify, theoretically substantiate, and characterise the criteria, indicators, and levels of professional mobility development of future intelligence officers during their professional training at higher military educational institutions. To achieve this goal, a set of theoretical research methods was employed, including the analysis, synthesis, generalisation, and systematisation of scientific and pedagogical literature, as well as regulatory documents, in the field of military education. In addition, the methods of comparing scientific approaches and pedagogical modelling were applied to develop diagnostic tools for determining the level of professional mobility development of future intelligence officers.
As a result of the study, the essence of the concept of professional mobility of a future intelligence officer was clarified and defined as an integrative professional and personal quality manifested in the ability to effectively adapt to changing conditions of service and combat activity, apply various strategies of intelligence operations, promptly respond to changes in the operational situation, and interact effectively with other members of the unit. The structure of professional mobility of future intelligence officers was determined, including motivational, cognitive, activity-based, and reflective components.
Based on the defined structure, a system of criteria for the development of professional mobility of future intelligence officers was substantiated, namely: motivational-value, cognitive, activity-communicative, and reflective criteria. For each criterion, corresponding indicators were identified that reflect the level of development of cadets' professionally significant characteristics. A system of levels of professional mobility development (low, medium, and high) was also developed, along with a set of diagnostic methods to assess the level of development of the relevant components of professional mobility during professional training.
The results obtained make it possible to consider professional mobility an important integrative characteristic of the professional training of future intelligence officers.
