The relevance of the study is due to the lack of scientific research devoted to the analysis of the image of the witch in Lyudmila Gorova's poem "The Enemy". According to the concept of cultural ecofeminism, the Earth is a "living" organism. Therefore, it is appropriate to trace the inextricable connection of the Earth with the human community in the course of the evolution of civilization. A common feature of religions is the desire to care for the "Other", which generates models of the ethics of care, the quintessence of which is the statement of the idea: violence is unacceptable in the modern world. The idea of perceiving the Earth as a living being is implemented in the concept of cultural ecofeminism. This contributes to the revival of the energetic connection of man with the Earth, which was lost during the technological development of civilizations. “Unity” is represented in various religions. Care, the rejection of domination has their origins in the Archetypes, when the Earth, which was associated with the Mother, was honoured. The achievement of ecofeminism is the rehabilitation of the “witch” phenomenon, which seriously treats the revival of worship of nature as a reproductive system. It is important to understand the representation of the Witch archetype and archetypal cults in Lyudmila Horova’s poems “The Enemy” at the level of poetics (repetition, synecdoche). This allows us to distinguish the emotional reaction of the resistance of the Ukrainian people and the reflection of the mental genetic code of “strength of spirit”, which is based on the historical memory of ancient ancestors. The aim of this article is to examine the poetics of poem ‘Vraže’ ву Lyudmila Gorova as a coherent system of tropes that shape a female artistic image imbued with a distinct sense of foreboding regarding the inevitable catastrophe awaiting the aggressor. Оbjectives. Achieving this objective requires an analysis of the poetics of Lyudmila Gorova’s poem ‘Vraze’ within the framework of its figurative language and the distinctive traits of a strong female character, as well as an examination of the idea of the irreversibility of the consequences of ‘evil’, the inevitability of a person or a people bearing responsibility for their own actions, and the impossibility of escaping ‘retribution’ in accordance with the laws of otherworldly forces, before which humanity’s technical achievements are weak and ineffective. The academic problem lies in the need to acknowledge an intuitive rejection of the consequences of the crisis in materialist logic, the hallmarks of which are the destruction caused by the rapid development of military-oriented technologies, and the production and use of modern weapons in the 21st century; the crisis of institutions of power and social institutions for the settlement of social and political international conflicts. Intuitive rejection generates aesthetic resistance in poetry, in which modern female artistic images are formed, realizing the ideas of the intersections of otherworldly energies and everyday life, which are revived from ancient mythological and folklore codes. Results. In the 21st century. in Ukrainian poetry, which is an ethical resistance and an active reaction of the artist to the unjust bloody political realities, the pathos of energy messages that have ancient roots is demonstrated, which proves: not only the use of modern technologies (weapons) is used in the course of human life. The mood of power of the Witch archetype in poems reveals the intersection of the otherworldly and earthly. Matriotism as care and the emotion of patriotism as a feeling of "one's own" in the Witch archetype intersect in the layers of protecting one's territory, protecting "one's" Home. Conclusions. The Witch teaches to cultivate "one's own" and defend "one's own". This intersection occurs at the moment of aggravation of the conflict: when a threat is fixed and "protection" is urgently needed. Recommendations of the Witch archetype are salvation from the enemy / emotional and mental protection from the invader in the phenomenon of matriotism.
