Founded in: 1988

Field of science and issues in focus: The journal contains the latest researches in the field of linguistics. They cover problems of the theory of language, applied linguistics, the methodology of linguistic disciplines studying. The subject and semantic fullness of articles are connected with research of Ukrainian language in the modern directions of linguistics such as linguistic conceptology, pragmalinguistics, functional, communicative, discussional linguistics, textual criticism.

The journal was included in category “B” of the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, in which the results of dissertations for the degrees of Doctor of Science and Candidate of Science (Doctor of Philosophy) may be published (Order No. 886 of the MES of Ukraine dated July 2, 2020)
